This book contains a lot of interesting information towards the business side of the industry. The textbook indicate owning and operating your company at an international level standard, understanding the international business communication and socializing. This part really caught my eye while I was reading it because for myself I want to be a founder of an interior design company which is known local and international. I think It is important to understand this part of the industry even if your company if small because you will have to network with international company to supply you product from all over the world in which if we lack the knowledge on understanding each other on the international level, there might be problems that is unnecessary and can easily be avoided.

Another important chapter of this book is about operating a green sustainable interior design business. This section of the book explain more in depth on the essential of what is needed to start, own and operate your own green interior design business. It also taught me how to conserve resources, minimize waste and how to recycle the waste. This is a really good feature in this book because I think that since the world is facing global warming, as designers we need to understand on how to save the environment rather than just design something which is different and unique.

I really enjoyed reading this book from start till the end. There were really good information illustrated inside the book and I have learnt a lot from it. One key point that got me thinking how I can expand my company in the future to become well known internationally and be recognized by the LEED Certification. I would have to say that this book is a must read to those who one day might want to start their own interior design business because there are a lot of good key points where you can learn from.
