Hospitality such as hotels are important for people whom are on a vacation or holiday. The designs should be able to depict an atmosphere or an environment that makes the guests feel like a paradise home.
Hospitality designs are not only focusing on the clients but it needs to be taken into consideration of a third point of view since hospitality projects are targeting for other guests and users.
Hotel Lobby
2015
This hotel is designed with a combination of contemporary with a touch of modern interior. This design will allow guest whom are staying here feels cozier and the interior has a relaxing atmosphere.
This designed is based on the geographic location of "Kos Rong" in Cambodia which is an island surrounded by sea and covered by forest. The interior concept is "Trees and Twigs". Whereas for the color schemes are a various tones of brown and beige which are the best combination with the concept.
The lobby area needs to give guests the feeling of being welcome into the hotel therefore hotel lobby needs to have a lot of circulation. This lobby area depicts a strong concept of the hotel using tree shaped cut outs has partition to separate each sofa areas and also tables with twigs legging. This will allow guest to feel and be closer with the surrounding environment.
This reception is design with a very clean and modern style having a floating reception counter. The design consist of using the tree as the focal point of the reception and using foundation of the counter. Behind the reception table, the wall is designed using natural lime stone to give more of a nature atmosphere.
Deluxe Suite Room

The Deluxe suite room design focuses more on the cozy and soothing atmosphere. Guest that are staying in an accommodation needs a relaxing and calm environment for their getaway holiday.
The room uses the main color scheme of different brown and beige. The interior material are mainly different of wood to depict the environment of the surrounding.
The deluxe suite room has a view looking out to the Kos Rong's beach. The design of the room is faced outward to the view. The deluxe suite have a balcony for the guest to sit down and relax enjoying the view and with the sunset. This room give the guests a relaxing and soothing atmosphere allowing them to enjoy their stay at the resort.
The bathroom of the deluxe suite room depicts an atmosphere of the natural surrounding by using material such as wood finishes, lime stones, slate stones and marble tiles. The tree concept is applied at the corner of the bathroom with a curved wall to break the rectangular walls.
