Containter House
2014
Container House has become a huge impact in the past recent years. Some might say "why a container house?” Well container houses are very affordable and due to population growth and less space in the city, container house comes in very handy. Besides the fact that they are affordable, container houses are eco-friendly by upcycling shipping containers.
This project consist of 2 shipping containers with the measurement of each container at 12.2 meter in length, 2.44 meter in width and 2.6 meter in height. The container studio is a 2 story studio having the living room, kitchen and dining area on the ground floor and bedroom and workstation on the top floor.
The container studio uses a lot of a vast variety of window designs to harvest more natural sunlight in order to reduce the consumption of electricity and the glasses are Low-E glass therefore will cut down on heat gain for the studio.
This container studio is designed with a modern contemporary interior design keeping everything in white. White interior gives a more spacious environment making the interior look more calm, clean and relaxing. This modern interior has an accent color of Red to give a strong and bold contrast to the atmosphere making the space more alive.
Apartment
2016
Apartment’s size are becoming smaller and has created some difficulties in space planning. This design of an apartment has given more functions and have utilized the space to its maximum. The design itself corporate of having a partition served as a TV wall mount and shelves between the living room and the bedroom.
The design of this apartment studio is designed to give a feeling of an industrial design. The use of the naked wall by Tadao Ando gives a perfect color contrast to the furniture.
